The PAC convenes to include representation from Caltrans and Humboldt Transit Authority (HTA) Board for items specific to transportation.

a. Last Chance Grade Project Update
Caltrans Corridor Manager Jaime Matteoli will present updates on the Last Chance Grade Project.
5. Consent Calendar
The PAC will consider approving the following item(s), considered to be routine, with a single motion. Item(s) may be removed from the Consent Calendar and, if removed, will be heard separately.

b. City of Ferndale FY 2026-27 Transportation Development Act (TDA) Local Transportation Fund (LTF) Claim (encl)
The PAC will consider recommending that the HCAOG Board adopt Resolution 26-18, to approving the City of Ferndale’s FY 2026-27 LTF claim in the amount of $46,202.63.
c. City of Fortuna FY 2026-27 Transportation Development Act (TDA) Local Transportation Fund (LTF) Claim (encl)
The PAC will consider recommending that the HCAOG Board adopt Resolution 26-19, to approving the City of Fortuna’s FY 2026-27 LTF claim in the amount of $414,084.85.
d. City of Rio Dell FY 2026-27 Transportation Development Act (TDA) Local Transportation Fund (LTF) Claim (encl)
The PAC will consider recommending that the HCAOG Board adopt Resolution 26-20, to approving the City of Rio Dell’s FY 2026-27 LTF claim in the amount of $131,801.96.
e. Federal Fiscal Year 2026 Federal Transit Administration Section 5311 Fund Allocation Requests and Information on the 5311(f) Program (encl)
The PAC will consider recommending that the HCAOG Board adopt Resolution 26-21 approving the programming of FFY 2026 Federal Transit Administration Section 5311 Program funds to the Humboldt Transit Authority for Operating Assistance and adopt Resolution 26-22 authorizing the Executive Director to sign and execute a certification and assurance form for all FFY 2026 5311(f) applications that meet the program requirements.

7. Reconvening of the HCAOG Board
By motion, reconvene as the HCAOG Board and approve PAC recommendations.

9. Closed Session
Pursuant to Government Code Section 54957(b)(1), the HCAOG Board will meet in closed session regarding public employee appointment/employment. Pursuant to Government Code Section 54957.1(a)(5), at the conclusion of Closed Session a public announcement will be made by the Board Chair disclosing any formal actions taken by the Board during the Closed Session.
