Humboldt County Association of Governments is seeking an experienced and collaborative leader to serve as its next Executive Director. This position serves as the agency’s Chief Executive Officer, overseeing regional transportation planning projects, organizational operations, strategic initiatives, budgeting, and stakeholder coordination throughout Humboldt County. The Executive Director works closely with local and tribal governments, transportation agencies, community partners, and the HCAOG Board of Directors to advance projects and programs that support safe, sustainable, and equitable transportation solutions for the region.
The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership experience in transportation planning, public administration, policy development, or a related public sector field. HCAOG is seeking a visionary professional with experience managing budgets, implementing programs, fostering regional collaboration, and engaging with diverse community stakeholders.
