What is RSS? - RSS in plain English (Video)

The Committee is comprised of technical staff representatives of the Cities, County, Caltrans, California Highway Patrol, North Coast Railroad Authority, and Harbor District, and five Native American Tribes. The Committee’s primary duties are to: A) prepare and maintain the Regional Transportation Plan and be advisory to the Policy Committee, B) to provide assistance, advice and recommendations to the Policy Committee and the member governments of the Association on the effects of the Transportation Plan on the plans of the member governments, and C) to provide assistance, advice and recommendations to the Policy Committee in order to aid it in fulfilling its responsibilities for the continuing comprehensive coordinated transportation planning process. Regularly scheduled Technical Committee meetings are held monthly.
