Regional Trails Master Plan (2010)

The main purpose of the 2010 Humboldt County Regional Trails Master Plan is to promote the development of a regional active transportation system. HCAOG funded this plan in response to Humboldt County residents' growing and intensified interest in non-motorized, "active" transportation. The plan promotes active transportation connections within and between communities.
The Humboldt County Regional Trails Master Plan is a long-range coordinating and resource document that will help plan and implement a regional, active transportation system that ensures safe and equitable access for non-motorized users. The plan compiles information on existing trails and active transportation planning in the region, focusing primarily on off-street trails. The plan does not catalog pedestrian facilities due to the relative lack of data on those facilities.
