Coordinated Public Transit - Human Services Transportation Plan (2008)

The Coordinated Public Transit - Human Services Transportation Plan for Humboldt County is part of a larger planning effort overseen by Caltrans on behalf of 23 rural (non-urbanized) counties in California. These rural counties are eligible for certain federal funds for transportation improvements; having an adopted coordinated plan allows Humboldt jurisdictions to access those funds.

Projects identified in a coordinated plan are intended to improve the mobility of individuals who are disabled, elderly, or of low-income status.

This fiscal year, 2012-13, HCAOG will be updating the "CPT-HSTP."  HCAOG's Social Service Transportation Advisory Council (SSTAC) and Service Coordination Committee (SCC) will play lead roles in directing, reviewing, and coordinating with stakeholders and the public for creating a comprehensive, responsive, and accurate plan.

For questions on the update, call HCAOG or e-mail Debra Dees, Associate Planner.  See the Contact Staff tab at the top of the page.
